
Reynard, originally from Potchefstroom, South Africa, completed his PGA studies at the Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golf Club, achieving full qualification in 2016. His career path led him to join Yas Links in Abu Dhabi in 2016, where he quickly gained recognition as a top coach in the capital.
In 2020, Reynard advanced to the position of Senior Golf Professional at Saadiyat Beach Golf Club, where he developed a highly successful junior development program. Notably, he currently serves as the Head Coach for the Cranleigh Golf Scholarship, contributing significantly to its achievements. Under his guidance, Cranleigh won the BSME (British Schools Middle East) championships in 2020, 2022, and 2023, showcasing his coaching prowess. Reynard takes pride in the success of six students from the Cranleigh program who are now playing and studying golf in the USA.
Reynard has embraced modern teaching technologies to refine his coaching approach. He emphasizes a straightforward method to enhance his students' performance, focusing on understanding ball flight laws and correct impact factors to deepen their understanding of their swings and facilitate game improvement.
In terms of certifications, Reynard stands out as the only Teaching Professional in Abu Dhabi certified at Superspeed Level 3. He has recently completed the Golf Psychology Coaching Certificate and is now a certified Golf Psychology Coach, equipping him to support golfers with mental strategies that enhance focus, confidence, and overall performance. Additionally, he has attained Trackman Level 2 certification. Furthermore, he has elevated his professional standing within the PGA community by upgrading his status to AAA with the prestigious South African PGA.
Reynard's journey underscores his dedication to golf coaching excellence, blending traditional expertise with advanced technologies to nurture talent and elevate the sport both locally and internationally.
